Biography for Michael Athas

Michael Athas brings his unique people and business perspective to iGoHire® . As the Founder and President, Michael has helped dozens of companies grow their sales by well over $100 million over the past several years, primarily through some mix of building highly strategic marketing and sales teams and conducting direct sales campaigns on their behalf.

Prior to introducing iGoHire® as a leading sales acceleration and recruitment company, Michael successfully completed dozens of search assignments for strategic executives in telecommunications and database related fields such as eCommerce and Customer Relationship Management. His clients are companies such as Dimensional Insight, Aspect Communications, Voicetek, DSET, eWare, EmergeSmart, EasyAsk, Coradiant, Information Advantage, Motorola, and Sybase. Several of these companies are headquartered offshore, and Michael, through his superbly qualified executives, has earned them significant profits globally.

Prior to his commercial experience, Mr. Athas lived in Washington DC and worked as a congressional aide to then Congressman Paul Tsongas and was a registered lobbyist for the rail industry. Mr. Athas has grown his international political network over the years, and is active today in many ways, including a fundraising for commerce advocacy politicians and various charities, particularly charities that advocate for children.

Michael Athas resides in Palm City, Florida. He is also a boater, sportsman, audiophile, and has been a lifelong musician, playing guitar and recently studying piano. He received his Bachelors in Behavioral Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Having done very well during his career, he formed Westwood Search Group in April 1996 and has grown the company by revenue, client base, internal staff, and reputation. He is proud of his exciting new service concept, iGoHire®. He has a passion for helping companies succeed by choosing the right employees, and looks forward to developing a network of ambitious licensees to build a new organization and spread the success process to their clients.
